The Calhoun County Red White Blue Foundation is proud to announce that we will be hosting The Wall That Heals as Southwest Michigan celebrates our great nation’s 250th Anniversary this summer! Join us August 20-23, 2026 at the Harper Creek High School’s soccer field complex located at 7290 B Drive N, Battle Creek, MI as we reflect, heal, and educate our community with The Wall That Heals.”
The Wall That Heals, a 3/4-scale mobile replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, travels to communities to honor the 58,000+ service members who died in Vietnam. While often visiting nearby cities like Battle Creek, the exhibit brings a powerful educational and healing experience, including a mobile education center, to West Michigan, allowing residents to visit the memorial without traveling to D.C.

- Scale: It is a 375-foot-long, 7.5-foot-high replica of the original Vietnam Veterans Memorial, featuring over 58,000 names.
- Purpose: The exhibit serves to honor those who served, provide closure for families, and educate the community, often offering a better reception for veterans than what they received upon returning.
